Privacy Policy

1. What onsite. does

onsite. is a browser-based interview preparation tool. It helps users organize interview prep materials, upload resumes and job descriptions, and optionally generate prep content using third-party AI APIs.

2. Information we collect

Google account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. This is used solely to authenticate you and is not shared with any third party.

Interview prep data: All content you create (prep materials, notes, checklists, uploaded documents) is stored locally in your browser's localStorage. We do not store this data on any server.

API keys: If you provide a third-party AI API key (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek, Moonshot AI), it is stored locally in your browser and is only sent directly to the AI provider you selected. We never receive, store, or transmit your API keys through our servers.

3. How we use your information

• Google sign-in data is used only for authentication.
• Your prep materials and uploaded documents remain in your browser and are never uploaded to our servers.
• If you use the AI generation feature, your resume and job description are sent directly from your browser to the AI provider you selected. We do not act as an intermediary.

4. Data storage

onsite. is a client-side application. All user data is stored in your browser's localStorage. We do not operate databases or servers that store your personal information. Clearing your browser data will remove all onsite. data.

5. Third-party services

• Google Firebase Authentication: Used for sign-in. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• AI providers (optional): If you choose to use AI generation, data is sent to the provider you select (Anthropic, OpenAI, DeepSeek, or Moonshot AI) under their respective privacy policies.
• Vercel: Hosts the static site. No user data is stored on Vercel.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with any third parties. Your Google account data is used solely for authentication within the app.

7. Your rights

• You can sign out at any time.
• You can delete all your data by clearing your browser's localStorage.
• You can revoke onsite.'s access to your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
